In my journey to learn more about SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, I will be writing a series of posts to share what I have learned along the way.
But first, in order to pass the first exam 70-461 of the MCSA SQL Server, we need to understand what we need to focus on:
- Create database objects
- Work with data
- Modify data
- Troubleshoot and optimise
The first part focuses on creating and modifying tables, views, constraints and DML triggers.
The second part focuses on querying data and implementing sub queries, data types and aggregate queries.
The third part focuses on altering stored procedures, working with functions, modifying data and combining data sets.
The fourth and last part focuses on optimising queries, managing transactions, evaluating operations and implementing error handling.
Now that we have identified the requirements of the exam, we can now continue studying more about SQL and our journey to gain the MCSA SQL Server certificate.
